Salt Spring Island Monetary Foundation administers Salt Spring Dollars, the islands local currency since 2001. Dollars can be purchased from our office or Mouats Home Hardware office. Currently our electronic teller machine (eTM) is being retrofitted with a new chip-enabled pin-pad, and should be back in service at the Island Savings Credit Union in Spring of 2017. Read more…
